2020 Vision of Chinese, American, and Chinese-Americans

Trump and the First Lady test positive for COVID-19. They were taken immediately to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center “out of an abundance of caution”.
Trump is discharged from the hospital, transported back to the White House, and continues to receive treatment, which consists of Regeneron’s investigational antibody cocktail, remdesivir, and dexamethasone.
The New England Journal of Medicine calls out the Trump administration’s response of the pandemic. 39 states report seeing rise in COVID-19 cases. A poll that was taken before Trump’s COVID-19 diagnosis finds that more Americans trust Biden in leading the health care system.
The White House has a COVID-19 outbreak of about 34 cases, including Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett. CDC experts offer assistance with contact tracing and handling the outbreak.
As President and First Lady, they are given more resources and access to care that many others cannot afford. While some celebrities are angry, others are unshocked.
There are also mixed reactions among the general public. Some quotes (comments) include:
"I wish them a quick recovery even though I can't stand Trump and want him out asap. I won't stoop so low as to laugh or make a sarcastic crack.
I hope he sees just how this works, though. If you are around others and don't take precautions like distancing or wearing a mask, you can easily get this thing. I imagine they'll recover just fine... which could be a mixed bag for his base."
"Do you really think Trump would wish Biden well if he tested positive. I highly doubt it, he would be all over Twitter throwing the dirt. It's time that liberals stop playing nice and friendly and wishing happy love on all, unless you want to keep losing. The gloves have to come off and start playing dirty like republicans always have."
"Sad to hear the news. I am a big advocate of masking up and have been even back when health experts were downplaying the effectiveness of masks. Wish Trump would have worn a mask and not held rallies. He may have a tough fight ahead."
