• A week later, the same FDA advisory panel also recommends Modern’s vaccine since the benefits outweigh the risks for those aged 18 years and older.
• The UK announces that a new strain of the virus is present in the country. While it is more contagious, it has not proven to be more deadly.
• The Trump administration buys 100 million more doses of Pfizer and BioNTech’s vaccine.
• A new COVID-19 variant is found in Colorado in a 20 year old with no travel history.
• By the end of the year, about 2.8 million people have been vaccinated.

With the different vaccine options and uncertainty surrounding it, the responses to whether or not we should all get vaccined receives a wide range of responses. Some medical experts try to utilize social media to push others to get the vaccine when available, while many are still skeptical of the side effects.
