During the breach of the capitol by pro-Trump rioters, essential workers, many of which are Black and brown men and women are already at work cleaning inside the building.

the HVAC Shop provided access to their eyewash stations for U.S. Capitol Police Officers that were affected by tear gas or pepper spray

The Capitol Grounds & Arboretum team clean the landscape to prepare for Biden’s Inauguration on the 20th.

200 veteran volunteers scrape signs and stickers placed by neo-Nazi groups and pick up littered flyers in the area around the Capitol Building. The non-profit Continue to Serve is also founded, which is a group of veterans that continue their oath to protect the Constitution.
